About Me

IMG_2549.jpg

Me in my very first dance costume!

When I was four years old, my parents enrolled me in dance classes. I was taught the basics, such as the five primary ballet positions, but most importantly it taught me how to listen to music for the first time. Listening to counts became listening to the beats, which then became listening to the lyrics. I was starting to understand how fun it was to dance to the music.

I spent most of my childhood listening to music, from blasting One Direction’s albums on my CD player to flipping in between radio stations to discover new songs. Music became my entire world and all I could think about. I could not wait to be dismissed from school so I could put on my AirPods and hit shuffle on my playlist.

Fast forward to the present – I am a young professional in Chicago working in radio, eager to learn more about the industry. As a PR and Advertising graduate of DePaul University, I strive for excellence in the work I do in media with plans to expand my experience, and my dream job is to work in music PR. I’m a firm believer in following wherever the wind takes me, and with my passion for music, radio, and the business behind both, I am eager to find the path that pushes that passion even further.

Personal Passion

I am a dancer first. My love for dance began at the age of 4 and has grown significantly to this day. I competed for 10 years and won multiple awards from competitions and conventions, both with my teams and my solos. Being a dancer has given me opportunities of a lifetime, from performing at the Outback Bowl in 2015 to choreographing for DePaul Dance Company (DDC). In my free time, you might catch me at a dance class somewhere in the city!

Check out some of my choreography with DDC below!
